embedded world North America

Austin, Texas
October 8 - 10, 2024

ICS will have a big presence at the first ever embedded world North America exhibition in the Austin, Texas. ICS will be giving a talk on "Choosing an Embedded GUI: A Comparative Analysis of UI Frameworks Including Qt, Crank, SLint, LVGL, TouchGFX, and Flutter". Some of our booth demos will include:

Software Defined Vehicles
Leaning into the future, ICS developed an engaging, intuitive IVI system to demonstrate the capabilities of a modern software defined vehicle. Interacting through a message broker, the independent software modules enable an infotainment system, instrument panel, navigation, machine learning for distracted driver and voice assistant applications, and a CARLA driving simulator.

Built from the same codebase with our HMI Accelerator on Flutter and Qt, the infotainment system is easily reskinned and toolkit independent. The flexible architecture design provides technology options from the UI to the choice of hardware.

Our driving simulator incorporates advanced telematics, including AI-powered eye-tracking for distracted-driver technology. Operated via steering wheel controller with realistic accelerator and brake pedals, the simulator truly brings the driving experience to life for people exploring our AI/machine learning IVI technology within the confines of an exhibit hall.

HMI Accelerator
Learn how to get to market faster with our HMI Accelerator, our low code tool for generating C++, Qt/QML or Flutter from an imported Figma file. The auto-generated simulators enable rapid prototyping and quick iterations early in the project, when there is still time to fix showstopping challenges. The modern architecture, software modules and test automation all propel you over the finish line in record time with a better quality product. Ask about our free prototype program.

Mocha Pete’s Coffee Experience
Experience the versatility of Flutter for IoT apps with Mocha Pete’s, our suite of apps for a simulated coffee shop. The coffee machine, ordering kiosk, and web and mobile apps for maintenance, services and analytics were all built with our HMI Accelerator and use the same Flutter code base.

ICS’ SBOMGuard
Announcing ICS’ new SBOMGuard, a free-to-use tool that enables post-market cybersecurity monitoring. Scan and manage vulnerabilities in your SBOM with this open source, browser-based cloud tool. Our beta program will be opening soon -- stay tuned for details!
